DIVING

At Seven Hills, we are always looking for new divers to join the team! We are committed to helping divers develop lifelong fitness skills and fulfill their potential for competitive diving. Coaches Vanessa Rolfe and Martha Melson are back this season along with new and seasoned assistants. Diving is open to ages 4 to 18, but participants must be able to swim to the side from the diving board, and participants ages 7 and older need to be able to do a front dive off the end of the board. Divers must be members of Seven Hills.

Practice schedule: May 28 - July 8
Monday - Friday morning practices:
Ages 6 and under: 10:45 - 11:15 a.m.
Ages 7 - 10: 8:15 - 9 a.m. or 10 - 10:45 a.m.
Ages 11 - 14: 9 - 10 a.m.
Ages 15 and older: 11:15 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Monday and Wednesday afternoon practices:
Ages 10 and under: 4 - 5 p.m.
Ages 11 and older: 5 - 6 p.m.

Dive meet schedule
Divers must compete in at least one dual meet to compete in the city meet. Dual meet warm ups start 8:30 a.m. and meets begin at 9 a.m.

City meet: Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10 at Sequoia Swim & Tennis Club

Fees
The 2024 dive season is $160 ($135 per diver plus a $25 non-refundable admin fee). Checks can be made out to Seven Hills Swim & Tennis Club.

Dive requirements for competing
Ages 6 and under: 1 required and 1 optional (can perform a skills jump)
Ages 7 - 8: 1 required and 1 optional (can perform a skills jump for dual meets and two regular dives for the city meet)
Ages 9 - 10: 2 required and 1 optional
Ages 11 - 12: 2 required and 2 optional
Ages 13 - 14: 3 required and 2 optional
Ages 15 - 19: 3 required and 3 optional
