Seven Hills Improvement Project (SHIP)
The following is a list of proposed improvements to the Seven Hills Swim & Tennis Club to be accomplished in 2006 and 2007:
Clubhouse
• Remove existing ceiling on the upper floor to expose roof trusses and install a new ceiling on the underside of the rafters
• New light fixtures upstairs and downstairs
Paint interior
• New tile or vinyl floors on first and second levels
• New heating, ventilating and cooling systems
• Improve appearance of lower level entryway
• Expand and improve interior snack bar
• Replace toilets, stalls, sinks and faucets in upper and lower levels
• Replace shower stalls
• Reconfigure the locker rooms to free up additional space for an activity room downstairs
• Install lockers
• New furniture for main room
• New window treatments
• Defibrillator
• Install interior and exterior sound/public address system
Outside Pool Area
• Build a brick or glass block wall on the back side of the eating area to reduce sound from the heating and cooling unit
• Expand outside eating area
• Build large covered deck
• Purchase additional chairs and lounge chairs
Tennis Area
• Modernize the tennis court lighting system
• Replace the ceiling in the tennis hut
• Rebuild the service bar in the Tennis Pavilion
• Repair the floor in the ice machine room
• New floors in the bathrooms
• Replace mirror in the men’s bathroom
• Repair the exterior lighting on the Tennis Hut
• Additional lighting up the walkway and around the patio
• New chairs for patio and Pavilion
Miscellaneous
• Install lighted Seven Hills Swim & Tennis Club signs at both driveways
• Pave the parking lot at the pool
• Additional parking lot lights and lights lining the entry to the Clubhouse
• Exterior security improvements
